A minute to Pray

I have been going to a Message Board for preemie moms it has actually been a big help, wake up call and so many other things for me. It has been great to be able to read others stories and not feel alone. I know that most my friends and family probably don't want to spend 24 hours a day 7 days a week talking about Bella but hey I do. :)

So to my point of this post. I know that Bella and I have been so blessed to have a great bunch of prayer warriors on our side while we spent that time in the Hospital. One of the mommies on the preemie board's little one is not doing well. This is her post from today on all of his issues. Now ladies we all know there is no such thing as no hope we see that everyday in all the special little ones we all know and love. We see Hope when we see pictures of Witt at home. Lets all pray for Hope and as well strenght to deal with whatever God's Will is for this family and there little man Oscar.

"Oscar's brain looks just awful he had a grade4 bleed on day three and now at ten weeks has PLV servere and one giant cyst on left side and many many cysts on the right the doctors are painting a very grim picture and want me to turn his machines off but i just know theres got to be hope for my baby. they say he will have servere cp and prob wont be able to talk move etc... also he will be serveley developmentally effected? how can they know? we've just had a specialist access oscar and he has told us oscar will definitely never walk or talk hold a cup feed recognise us were in complete devestation

Bella -

I know mom has already posted this pic but I thought I would post it as well.. Her first Piggies..
She is getting so active. Can you believe that it was a year ago that I held her for the first time on May 2,2009.. WOW.. She was 2 lbs 13oz a year ago. We went to the doctor a few weeks ago and she is just under 16lbs. She has two teeth coming in. She is crawling like crazy. She is pulling up on anything and anybody that will stay still. She still only really says DaDaDaDa.. But we are close to bye bye.. She is eatting like crazy. Still baby food. I think it is easier than feeding straight from the table.. Still not crazy about a sippy cup.. But we have introduce pedisure with her formula and she LOVES the vanilla and kind of likes the chocolate.

In case anyone didn't know I went back to work part time a few weeks ago. Very nice. Love getting a paycheck again. Bella gots some new toys and some new cloths. Cause yeah poor baby needed toys and cloths. Ok not really I just can't not buy her stuff. Momma got a few new things too.. Funny how when you don't work for even a short amount of time and you go back to work the cloths seem so old. Forsure need to do some freshing up with the closet..

Also as everyone read the Nana's computer is out. But never fear we will have her backup by the weekend with a laptop. Couldn't have her down with her birthday just around the corner. That's right May is a crazy Birthday month for our family.
Oldest Melon head yesterday, Sista Trash's Birthday is TODAY - Happy Cinco De Mayo Aunt Kerri, Then Nana's and then Graycie's. Busy month. We also can't forget mother's day in all that this weekend.

School is almost out and it will be summer. I know we are ready. Brandon will offically be a freshman in just a few short weeks.. :0 CRAZY I know the next four years will go by way to fast.

It's Happened

It officially happened last night she off the tummy crawled.. Of course she only made it to the closets toy but she did it. She did it first behind her daddy only he didn't know it. ;)

She also offially spent all night in her room in her bed. She has always been in her own bed since the day we brought her home. She has just been in the room with me. With all the machines it just seemed crazy to be going across the house to see why the machine was going off only for it to stop as soon as I would get to it.

And not sure I mentioned this but a tooth is trying to make its debut. Can't wait. I can't imagine her with Teeth.. Even thought we have seen them in her swallow test you could see them it was kind of werid. But good to know they are there. :)

Her room saddly is still not finished but it is closer. We got the paint up and curtain rods hung. Got a few pictures up but then our drill died on us. :( And we could not get her shelfs hung or the really heavy mirror hung. So some project for another day. :) But it is finally starting to take shape and look like a room. I got her chandlier changed our with all the new clear prisms. Now it will be off to Pop's to have him wire it. Decided not to hang it in the middle of her room instead it is at the end of her bed for her to look at.

I moved her bed in on Saturday while Roby was taken a nap (he worked nights last week and tired to stay home with her, still is probably not going to work.)But I got it all the way from our room in the back of the house throught the laundry room/craft room, kitchen, living room and then the final door way her room and it wouldn't clear the door.. :0 Awww.. I had to wake him up and he had to take the door off the hinges without a screw driver. :0 But we got it in and even with all the unfinished project I had an overwhelming since of happiness so much I actually almost cried. Just this joy that finally we have a nursery for her a place that is just what I had dreamed it would look like. All this time I had felt like I was settle on stuff but when it was all in the room together the fabric just made the room and a room that I decorated for my little gir.

Growing up we got our room re-decorated alot so it was such a great feeling to know I will be giving her a similar childhood memory that I had. Some might say they don't remember. But I grew up with stories of my perfect doted-swiss nursery. And I have mermories of my pink metal hospital bed, white canopy bed and daybed. Like I said we got new rooms alot. Of course we did I am the daughter of Talkign Trash and Cat Daddy.. Hellow would you expect any less from them. So off course I have big shoes to fill when it comes to being a parent to one of the orginal trahetts. Cat Daddy gets funny about his Kitten's you know.

No Video to prove this really happened but my little girl just tummy crawled across the living room.. She has been rolling around the room but something caught her eye and she was off.. It is just a matter of time before I will not be able to keep her confined to this room.. Someone remind me again why I wanted to teach her how to do this.. :)

More 13 Months

OK so lets see what haven't I told you guys..
Since her last appointment with OT
She has started getting up on all fours and rocking. She can role and get any toy she wants.. She cam pull herself as well to toys but not off the tummy crawling but we know it is close.
She is taken 4 6oz bottles a day and eating breakfast, lunch and dinner along with at least one snack a day.
She is not pulling up just yet and is not sitting herself up. But she can stand up if we put her holding up on the couch or her bed for a minute and she can sit for hours if we let her and play.
Her new favorite toy right now is her pots and pans I got her a big lots she loves thoses. Along with the Easter egg Shakers I got her.
I try to read to her everyday..
And she now loves to watch PBS Dinosaurs Train. I know they say not to let them watch TV till they are at least 2 but she really likes to watch this show.. And she seems to have no interest in BARNEY!!! Lets just say I am a happy mom on that one.
Still no sign of teeth.
I finally got her room painted. Roby hung the curtain rods this weekend and I hung the curtains. I am working on a chandelier. It once had amber colored prisms on it and hung in our first house. It has been collecting dust for the past few years at my mom's and I decided to pull the prisms off and add new clear ones to it. This actually seems easier than it is.. My fingers are killing me.

I think that is about it for now on the Bella updates..

13 Months Today

Can you believe it Bella is 13 months today. :0 Today was my first day back at work. All is good some how I seem to remember most of my old job duties. And the time went by fast of course I am more than ready to be at home with my baby.
