Sick Day

Daddy was sick this week.. Bella was not happy that Daddy was not holding her on Tuesday and Wednesday. So Wednesday night he put a mask on to hold her. And scrubbed up with lots of anti-bacterial soap..

Was just like we were back in the NICU.. LOL. So the house smells like Lysol from all the spraying. But so far me and Bella are not sick. Lucky for us all this is now a part of are normal house hold supplies so we have plenty on hand at all times since she was born.
I know everyone may not want to see tons of pictures of Bella sleeping.. But I am a bad momma I never started a baby book for her so this blog has become her baby book for all her first. The other night Bella did a cute trick for us. She was pulling her pacy out of her mouth and making it pop each time. And every time I said Pop Goes the Baby she would do it again and again. As Nana says she is a little monkey see monkey do these days. She is such a little performer like her Nana. Since then she has done it at least once everyday. Wanted to post the video but for some reason it does seem to want to upload.
Today she manged to pull herself up to a half way sitting positions..

Bella's Doctor Visit

Bella went to the doctor yesterday. It was a good visit. She is now 14lbs.. I know big girl right.. The doctor has officially given the OK to take her off the oxygen they think she is ready. Last night it took her a little while to get a good stable number she does great during the day it is just for some reason at night she drops to 90/88. Around 2am this morning she stopped dropping and from that point her numbers did great the machine did not go off.. She is playing away in her bouncer, a few days ago she played so hard she feel asleep..

Also we had a new addition to our family last month.. Nope not me & Roby my BIL and SIL.
This is Bella's new cousin Alice Rose, she was born on December 28th weight 5 lbs 11 oz.. I know we have big girls right.. ;) She looks just like her Big Sister Lulu. Grandma is definitely in trouble with three little girls to spoil rotten.

Random

Bella must cut a tooth soon. Poor thing she is teething on her pacy and now her oxygen tub. Anything that comes near her mouth is going in. Parker is staying clear of her. How long do baby teeth? It really seems like she has been teething since the day we brought her home in August.

10 Months

Can you believe it our little girl will be a year old in 2 months. I know I can't.

We have started with full force finally giving her a nursery. Maybe we will finish it by her birthday. LOL. I didn't want to rush and just buy anything so she would have a room. I waited 33 years for my little girl so her room has got to be just right. Sometimes I find myself buying stuff because it is cute and then never using it. Didn't want to do that with Bella's room. I wanted to be very selective with each little detail. Lucky for me some of you great Bloggers have sent her some great stuff that is going to work with her room. Paint color is Sweet Baby Girl seemed operate seeing as she is the sweetest baby girl. We got the white primer finished last night. The room was black and gray. That was not an easy task to cover up. Now the next step deciding how we are going to paint the walls. Again not wanting to rush the process and then want to change after it is done. I do believe Roby will kill me if I did that.

Bella has a busy week this week.
OT came yesterday. She did great. Sat up on her own for 3 whole seconds. Her OT taught her how to bang toys together she caught on to that one quick. Showed her once and she had it. Learn how to do some exercises to encourage crawling.
Blood work this week before her doctors apt.
She has her RSV shot and her oxygen check up this week as well. Which I am 99.9% sure she will be coming off the oxygen this week. She has taken herself off every morning for the last week and done great without oxygen she was stat at 98-99 WOW that is perfect could not ask for better numbers. But I will probably still suggest she keep the oxygen for night time at least another month. With the cold weather I just think it is better to be a little inconvenienced and be safe than do anything that could possible get her sick. The extra bit of oxygen can helps to keep her lungs clear.

She is really teething big time. Poor thing I wish that tooth would come on already. I swear I think she has been teething since we brought her home in August. But thanks to Nana and Pop she got some really nice teething rings for Christmas just small enough for her tiny little mouth.
